Setrix has invented a "barcodable localization system" (patent pending)
that can read hundreds or thousands of special barcode patterns from
a distance of several meters using a camera.
Setrix has deployed several systems in factories to monitor Kanban stocks
in real time.This special barcode label, called the "Sunshiny label", can
encode 4, 5, 12, or 20 numeric digits for product identification
The principle of the operation involves:
- Sunshiny labels are attached to the
stocks or the background structure.
- The Setrix system analyzes the image and computes the
status of stocks,
- Via wireless connection, the stock status is sent to ERP system, and to the
supplier via fax, E-mail, or SMS.
The Setrix Visual Logistics solution can monitor all types of Kanban stocks in factories, such as
- Traditional Kaban labels
- Floor grid Kanban
- Container-based Kanban
- Shelf-space Kanban
The system can monitor these Kanban stocks without any operator
intervention (no traditional
barcode scanning) and without any changes of existing production
processes. We work with other
logistics service providers to integrate the real-time stock data to your ERP software so that your
